It gives you the look and feel of solid wood without any of the drawbacks (i.e. expensive fitting due to the use of glues or secret nailing). The wear layer is a full 6mm thick, giving it the same wear layer as solid wood. The base layer is 15mm Birch ply. This construction guarantees the floor for under floor heating and to be used as a floating floor.
